EMS supply a range of easy to use instruments which continuously measure and record the concentration of airborne particles for fixed site, semi-permenant and portable applications.
These instruments can simultaneously monitor the concentrations of TSP, PM10, PM2.5 and PM1 particles.
All instruments feature internal data logging and we commonly integrate these with web services for efficient remote management, particularly useful on large industrial and construction sites.

Topas: Fixed Station Monitor
The Topas fixed station monitor is intended for long term installation. Several sites can be networked together to form a widespread monitoring system, which can be controlled by various communication means including GSM modem and radio modems. Topas has achieved the Environment Agency's MCERTS certification, ensuring its accuracy in recording data.

Osiris: Portable and Semi-Permanent
Osiris is a general purpose instrument which can be used as a portable instrument or deployed in a semi-permanent installation. Osiris can be quickly deployed to study short or long term pollution hotspots in towns and cities and exceedance areas rapidly determined. It can be housed in an unobtrusive lamp post box. Osiris has achieved the Environment Agency's MCERTS certification, ensuring its accuracy in recording data.

DustMate: Handheld Fume and Dust Detector
The hand-held DustMate is ideal for short term sampling, highly effective for monitoring air quality within buildings and clean rooms, or at the roadside. It's fast response has been designed to locate sources of workplace airborne dust and fumes even at very low concentrations.
