2015 will see a change in ISO 14001 standards, and as the worlds’ most popular environmental management standard this will mean that over 250,000 businesses will have to review and amend their internal processes.
If you don’t have ISO 14001 in place, now is an ideal time to work towards certification. Companies who receive certification before the new standards are implemented will have a three year grace period to comply with the new 2015 requirements.
What's more, UKAS accreditation bodies will certify against the existing ISO14001:2004 standards for up to 18 months after the 2015 standards have been implemented.
