Dr Peter Skipworth to present at Royal Society of Chemistry event

EMS’s Dr Peter Skipworth is due to present at the Royal Society of Chemistry event “Emerging contaminants in waters and soils, practical considerations: - Sampling, analysis and consequences”. The event is focussed on exploring the chemistry of emerging contaminants which have recently been discovered in soil and/or water environments and are considered to be a potential risk to the environment and/or and human health.

Dr Skipworth will be presenting in partnership with Maria Romerio-Gonzalez from the University of Sheffield. Their presentation entitled “Measuring Continuous Concentration of Mass Pollutants in the Aquatic Environment”, discusses a revolutionary new micro-technology monitoring platform called MuliMEMS. MultiMEMS technology is currently in development by EMS and the University of Sheffield.
