This Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) skills service helps businesses to identify their skills needs based on their business growth objectives and then find the right training solution. Small and medium-sized businesses based in the Leeds City Region that have a budget to put towards training could be eligible for funding of between £500 and £50,000. The types of training courses that could be eligible for the skills fund are:
NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management
This five day course is suitable for those responsible for managing environmental risk and maintaining environment compliance. The course takes an in-depth look at environmental management and is assessed by a two hour written exam and practical assessment. For more information, click here.
NEBOSH Award in Environmental Awareness at Work
This one day course is suitable for staff who have an impact on the environment. The course is a good introduction to environmental management and is assessed by a multiple choice exam. For more information, click here.
Environmental Management for Directors
This one day ILM endorsed course is intended for Directors and Senior Managers with strategic responsibility for determining and implementing effective environmental management. Delivered by a practicing Environmental Consultant and Environmental Solicitor, the course covers the necessary environmental duties and responsibilities of Directors.
