Over the last two weeks, Harvey has been working with the EMS engineering team as part of a Work-wise project, gaining experience and providing valuable support to the team.
Work-wise supports the development of children and young people by offering an employer led initiative in the engineering, technology, manufacturing and related sectors. It is an important achievement allowing young people to develop skills and knowledge and to open up opportunities and future prospects.
EMS value the opportunity that Work-wise provide for young people and we take pride in being part of a project which gives 14-18 year olds a head start and a real experience of a working environment.
"The opportunities that the work-wise Foundation is able to give are only possible through the commitment and support of work-wise companies like EMS opening their doors and offering our young people these amazing opportunities. EMS have worked with work-wise and supported our efforts over the past 3 years and have helped inform, shape and change young peoples lives and we look forward to continuing this partnership in the future"
John Barber, Co-Founder & Senior Associate, Work-wise Foundation
Harvey has worked hard during his time at EMS, developing his engineering skills and providing day to day support to the team. It has been a pleasure to have had him with us for the past fortnight and we wish him the best of luck for the future.
