We are please to announce the release of a new environmental course aimed at Senior Directors. The new course "Environmental Management for Directors" is the first of its kind in the United Kingdom, and has received accreditation from ILM (The Institute of Leadership and Management). The 1 day course has been developed in partnership with Shulmans LLP, and is designed to help Senior Directors understand the importance of their environmental obligations. A range of topics are covered including:
- Understanding the importance of environmental responsibility
- Understanding environmental responsibility - a Directors perspective
- The effects of environmental legislation
- Preparing for an inspection or investigation (e.g. Environment Agency)
- The consequences of neglecting environmental management
- Environmentally responsible, a best practice approach
