Over the last month, EMS have been at a number of events. At the Future in Food event at Birmingham's NEC it was great to catch up with existing and prospective clients and highlight the importance of sustainability in the UK food processing sector. There were around 100 senior managers from the food and drink industry, discussing the important issues including energy recovery, metering and monitoring, infrastructure and planning, managing water and waste and carbon.
As well as Future in Food, EMS attended Manufactured Yorkshire, a two day trade show open to all manufacturers. The focus on day one was engineering and day two looked at the food and drink sector. Speakers included the Managing Director at Dunhills Ltd (Haribo), Deputy Principle of Kirklees College and the Chief Executive of Welcome to Yorkshire.
We also attended the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce members BBQ in support of the charity Support Dogs. So, a busy month for exhibiting at EMS.
