  • Workplace Exposure Monitoring (COSHH)

Since 2002, the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations mean that employers are liable for protecting their employees from exposure to potentially hazardous substances in the workplace.

EMS can provide occupational exposure testing services to help you identify workplace exposure limits (WELs) that are relevant to your industry or manufacturing process. Our consultants will then look to advise on the appropriate monitoring strategies that require implementation to help you adhere to your WELs.

Potential hazardous substances include:

  • Chemicals
  • Fumes
  • Dusts
  • Vapours
  • Mists
  • Gasses
  • Biological agents
  • Germs
