EMS is the sole representative for the supply of the Teledyne ISCO range of flow monitoring and automatic sampling products to the north of England and Scotland and the Ponsel range of water quality measuring devices in the UK.
ISCO has manufactured a wide range of products for water pollution monitoring and process control since 1958. A comprehensive range of equipment is available for water, wastewater and process monitoring applications.
Ponsel has specialised in the manufacture of portable and fixed water quality measuring products since 1948.
EMS now invites applications for the role of Sub - Agent to distribute Teledyne ISCO and Ponsel products to industry and utilities within the Scottish Water area. A working knowledge of water industry regulation and operation, flow monitoring and sampling is essential. Knowledge of wastewater monitoring products would be an advantage.

EMS is a specialist environmental company providing
consulting and monitoring to industry.
A full time vacancy exists due to planned expansion for a Junior Site Technician. The
job involves travel throughout the UK to install, maintain and collect data from
environmental monitoring equipment at industrial sites.
Applicants must have a full driving licence and be able to work alone and as
part of a team. Confined space entry is a requirement of the position.
Appropriate training will be provided.
Experience of Microsoft Office applications and electronics would be beneficial.
Salary: Negotiable dependant upon experience.

Trainer.
Environmental Monitoring Solutions (EMS) Ltd provides
a comprehensive range of monitoring, management,
consultancy and training services for clients of all
sizes whose activities impact on the environment.
An opportunity now exists for a knowledgeable,
enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our
consultancy and training division as an Environmental
Trainer to deliver Level 2, 3 and 4 Environmental NVQs,
1 day Chartered Institute Environmental Health (CIEH)
accredited courses and bespoke training to meet client
needs. The successful candidate will work from EMS’s
head office in Dronfield, Derbyshire.
The post holder will be responsible for delivering level
2, 3, and 4 Environmental NVQs, CIEH courses and bespoke
training to client sites. The jobholder will also be
responsible for devising training packages, assessing
NVQ’s to the standards of the awarding body, internally
verifying NVQ assessment practices and updating and
reviewing quality training systems.
Salary: Negotiable, dependant on qualifications
and experience.
Skills required:

Good written, presentation and oral skills.
Computer literacy.
Problem solving and decision making abilities.
Knowledge of applicable environmental legislation
Qualifications and Experience:
A degree in Environmental Science / Management or
equivalent in a related discipline is essential.
A training qualification and/or A1, A2, V1 or equivalent
(D32, 33, 34) to assess and verify NVQ’s is desirable.
1-5 years working experience in an environmental related
job is vital
Knowledge of 1S014001, environmental and waste
legislation essential.

successful candidate will work on site responsible for
one of EMS’s key accounts based in Newport, South Wales.
The post holder will be responsible for managing and
improving the Environmental Management System to the
required ISO14001 standards to ensure accreditation is
retained, changes to the business are accounted for,
legislation compliance is met and continual
environmental improvements transpire. The jobholder will
be responsible for continuing to develop the
environmental culture within the business and to further
develop the training programmes and awareness of
environmental issues to personnel.
