About Us:

Environmental Monitoring Solutions (EMS) provides a holistic service to help you meet and maintain environmental compliance.

Since EMS was established in 2002, we have worked with our clients as their environmental partner to ensure that regulations, legislation and environmental goals are met. We have expertise in every aspect of a company’s interaction with the environment. This ranges from the supply, installation and maintenance of systems to monitor air emissions and monitor water emissions, through to environmental permitting and waste regulations, and the embedding and continuous improvement of environmental management systems.

We use contemporary technology and techniques to ensure that our clients make the best use of remote monitoring and low maintenance systems.

EMS has a specialist Smart Wastewater division which provides autonomous systems for the water industry in their journey to reduce flooding and toward zero pollution.

In 2022, EMS became a sister company, alongside Envirocare, Ecus and Enviro Technology Services, under the environmental service group Cura Terrae. Cura Terrae is a leading UK environmental group, providing consultancy, services, and solutions to help take care of the Earth.

The Role:

We are seeking an Office Manager to oversee the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of an office(s), organising people, information and other resources. You will provide proactive business support across both EMS and our parent company, Cura Terrae.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of day-to-day Procurement Processes, including ordering, tracking and supplier management
  • Management of office premises at President Buildings including; management of office assets in line with HSEQ requirements, management of internal & external events, ordering of office supplies, handling post.
  • Oversee reception and call handling, including management of Phone schedule and liaison with outsourced IT support.
  • Management of Group motor fleet in accordance with Business Policies
  • Management and development of hotel and accommodation policies and processes
  • Collation of accurate metrics for Group ESG reporting through engagement with Group subsidiaries
  • Management of information for Group insurance claims and annuals renewals

Experience Required:

  • Demonstrable success in a similar role as an office manager or regional administrator
  • Self-motivated and pro-active (takes responsibility)
  • Team player
  • Professional, organised and time-efficient
  • Good decision making skills
  • Experience with managing motor/vehicle fleets
  • Experience with looking after insurance polices, claims and renewals
  • Ability to work on site and commute to Sheffield office

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
